How to write a music bio

Firstly, answer the following questions.

  • 3 artists you are influenced by.
  • Pick one infuence and state why they have such a strong influence on you.
  • What you are doing now musically.
  • What you plan to do in the future
  • How can people find you or your usic
Then use this information to create a story that people will be able to comfortably read written in third person.

When I was younger I learnt how to play all the guitar parts, bass lines and drum parts note for note as the music arrangements on the Slippery when Wet album were brilliant. This influenced my music writing and arranging.
What you are doing now musically:
I am currently writing and recording my own instrumental album as well as assisting other artists written and record their first songs and EP’s.
What you plan to do in the future:
In the future I plan to write many more albums….

Chris Richter is a musician, songwriter and producer form Inverell in Norther NSW, Australia. 
In his younger years, Chris spent 12 month on an Australian tour with a 13 piece band, has recorded and released over 90 songs and over the last 20 years has supported over 100 young artists in writing and recording their music. Many of these artists went on to release their music, tour and perform across Australia and overseas.
Chris is a reliable person with a very versatile musical background and prides himself in support other performers and musicians. 
The Chris writes is heavily influenced by Phil Collins, Richard Marx, John Farnham, Jack Jones and Bon Jovi. When Chris was younger he took the time to learn how to play all the guitar parts, bass lines and drum tracks note for note to a Bon Jovi album. As a result the early music of Bon Jovi had an enormous influenced his music writing and arranging.
Chris is currently writing and recording his latest instrumental album as well as assisting other artists write and record their first songs and EP’s.
